Timemaster Implementations

The impact of implementing and project management, time-recording, work-in-progress and invoicing system can be far reaching. Orica Software has developed the Timemaster Implementation Methodology (TIM) to help our clients through the system delivery process.

The purpose of TIM is to ensure the implementation of Timemaster is structured to ensure the final solution meets your organisations business objectives. It takes you through the whole process and defines the deliverables expected at the end of each stage.

1. Delivery Plan
The Timemaster Delivery Plan draws upon the experience of your key personnel to produce a detailed strategy document outlining the system structure and identifies the key business drivers.
2. Preparation
Timemaster Preparation covers any bespoke development, systems integration and the conversion of legacy project data.
3. Installation
An Orica Technical Consultant will undertake the installation of the Timemaster application and the database. Some server administration or Crystal Reports training can be provided.
4. Setup
You may need some help from Orica to configure your Timemaster database. An Orica consultant will work with you to ensure the system is configured to best address your business requirement.
5. Training
Training will be provided to include System Administrators, Project Manager's, Line Manager's, Timesheet User's and Accounts delivered at your site.
6. Review
Post-implementation review to refine any processes and address any user-acceptance issues.

TIM starts with a Delivery Plan that describes your current situation and documents the way forward. This provides the input for the Preparation stage - the undertaking of bespoke development work, systems integration and data migration. Installation is undertaken and Timemaster can be set-up to address your business requirement. Appropriate training can be provided as required by your centralized or devolved functional model. At the end of the whole process, a Review is undertaken to ensure that the initial objectives have been fully addressed. Some organizations prefer to fast track TIM by only using stages 3 to 5.
